FootballChelsea is demanding up to £100 million for Pedro Neto, according to reports.
Antoine Seville · 17 août 2026 · 2 min de lecturePedro Neto, Chelsea player, could leave the club this summer despite the planned start to the season. Several rumors suggest a possible move to Manchester City or Saudi clubs like Al Hilal. Morgan Rogers could also be involved in these transfers.
Pedro Neto’s price revised upwards
Initially estimated at around €60 million, the first offers for Pedro Neto now appear well below the player’s real value. According to
Football.London, Chelsea is valuing its Portuguese international at nearly €100 million. Bobby Vincent, a journalist for the outlet, notes that the Blues are basing this figure on recent transfers of offensive midfielders like Yan Diomande. This valuation is supported by comparisons with other players. Liverpool recently offered €145 million for Bradley Barcola, an amount the Reds seem prepared to pay. While Barcola is slightly younger, Chelsea’s asking price for Neto—two-thirds of that amount—does not seem unreasonable.
Chelsea have multiple attacking options
Chelsea boast a deep attacking squad. Cole Palmer, Morgan Rogers, Estevão, Geovany Quenda, Jamie Gittens, and even Mykhailo Mudryk are all part of the current lineup. Additionally, Xabi Alonso may favor tactical systems without pure wingers, which could reduce the need for recruitment in that position. Despite the high price tag, Saudi clubs, capable of offering at least €80 million to kickstart discussions, may be in a position to negotiate. Chelsea, for its part, would attempt to gradually increase the amount it is asking.
Ongoing negotiations with Al Hilal
Negotiations between Chelsea and Al Hilal are gathering pace. New direct meetings are scheduled for this week to discuss Pedro Neto’s transfer. Al Hilal has already made a financial proposal to the player and his entourage, according to information from journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Nicolas Jackson could also be involved in similar moves. These talks come amid a broader trend of Saudi clubs increasing their investments in European football, as reflected in the reactions of Chelsea supporters.
Enzo Fernández was booed by fans during a pre-season match, highlighting tensions surrounding the club’s management and sporting decisions.
