Snoop Dogg joins HITMAN with an exclusive new mission

IO Interactive studio announces a new Elusive Target mission in HITMAN World of Assassination, featuring the legendary rapper Snoop Dogg. Titled “The Herbalist,” this mission will be available for free from August 27 to September 26, 2026, on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and mobile. The game’s Free Demo will also allow players to experience it on these platforms.

A groundbreaking mission with Snoop Dogg and his son Cordell

In this mission, Agent 47 must eliminate Dr. Cyrus Cane, a controversial entrepreneur behind the launch of Morsizzles, supposedly addictive cookies. However, an investigation reveals links between the product and deaths during internal testing. The mission takes place at a launch party on Haven Island, where players can infiltrate the crowd to complete their objective. Snoop Dogg lends both his likeness and voice to the character of Dr. Cyrus Cane, a first for the franchise. His son, Cordell C. Broadus, also appears in the game as a guest, marking a father-son debut in a video game title. Today marks the launch of a new season in HITMAN World of Assassination, featuring free updates for players. Among the highlights are two new challenges, Featured Contracts, Twitch Drops, and the return of Elusive Targets, including "The Undying Returns." Season rewards include a list of tasks for Agent 47 to complete. Additionally, the Herbalist Pack (€7.99), available from August 27, grants permanent access to two exclusive contracts: "The Visionary Arcade" and "The Herbalist Assignment," along with a set of mission-inspired cosmetic items. The pack includes the entrepreneur’s suit, a personalized microphone, Morsizzles cookies, and a "Big Biz" briefcase. Players can also acquire a set of four cosmetic items for the Freelancer Safehouse.
