Sporting CP faces a decisive week with several pressing issues on the table. Pote, the team's attacking star, is under the spotlight, while Moussa Diaby remains at the club despite transfer rumors. Meanwhile, Daniel Bragança, a key midfielder for Sporting, is at the center of advanced negotiations with Torino.
Pote under pressure, Diaby retained
Sporting CP is going through a decisive week with several major challenges. Brazilian striker Pote is in the spotlight after inconsistent performances. His future at the club is now uncertain, though no official decision has been made yet. Meanwhile, Moussa Diaby remains at the club despite recurring speculation about a possible move to Al Ittihad, which still lacks available positions to sign him. Club officials must make a quick decision as Sporting relies on stability to secure its season. Pote, for his part, has shown signs of recent form recovery, but the pressure remains high to confirm his status as an undisputed starter.
Bragança in advanced talks with Torino
Daniel Bragança, Sporting’s midfielder, is now in the final stages of negotiations with Torino. Both clubs have reached a principle agreement, but details still need to be finalized, particularly regarding financial terms and contract length. The Italian side has already made an official offer, and Sporting appears ready to let the player go if the proposed amount is deemed satisfactory. Torino, which has targeted Bragança for several weeks, is expected to make a firm offer in the coming days. If the deal is sealed, Sporting could receive a significant sum but would need to compensate for his departure by signing a new midfielder to strengthen the squad.
PAOK makes a strong move for Bragança
While Torino is the favorite to sign Bragança, PAOK has also made a €10 million bid to secure the Portuguese midfielder’s services. The Greek club, which is focusing on quality reinforcements for its sporting project, has confirmed its interest and is preparing an offer to sway Sporting. Meanwhile, Olympiacos, which had also expressed interest, remains in the race with a similar proposal. Bragança, who wears the number 23, could now choose between Italy and Greece—two ambitious leagues where he could thrive. Sporting, for its part, must make a quick decision to avoid losing the player before the transfer window closes.
